Within these pages is a sampling of my expressions of feeling for some of the people and places that are most familiar and affecting to me. My first album of recordings is called "Light of Seattle" because, for better or worse, Seattle is the focal point of this huge metropolitan area I live in that surrounds the Puget Sound.

Most folks who are in any way familiar with the Puget Sound area will probably feel that the lyrics of "The Light of Seattle" are apropos. They will also no doubt recognize that the author of the song "April Showers" was not from this area. Had they been from here, the song would have been "January through December Showers."

So, if you are from this area, you know it is raining right now. If you are from some normal, dry place, you can feel solidarity with us by pulling out your umbrella and your light-therapy box while you listen to "The Light of Seattle."
